I am a thirty-something native Texan living outside of Austin with my husband, two dogs, and spicy cat. I have been passionate about art and photography since I was very young, and have frequently been the family/friend photographer, but have spent almost the last decade "officially" working in the veterinary field.

 

To be clear, photography is still not my full time-job - it is truly a passion project. I launched my business at the urging of my husband to offer my services to more people, and when I realized I am in a position to provide photos to families at a reasonable price point because it isn't my full time gig. This is also why I don't shoot weddings or similar events - I am content to leave that to the full-time pros :)

In my spare time, I have kind of eclectic interests and hobbies... Dog sports with my youngest pup, endurance fitness, traveling whenever I can, scuba diving, PC video games, fencing (with swords), good books, craft cocktails, and spicy food... or any food, really.
